In the first 10 days you'll suck
You need perseverance, not just in your goals but also in quitting those bad habits.

2nd day
When you are trying to quit a bad habit, the first 10 days will be awful. You will suck at it.
You need perseverance, not just in your goals but also in quitting those bad habits.
Be in the game for long enough. Don't say in the 3rd day: "Oh this is not working, I am still getting temptations to use/see/access that thing."
In a video by Andrew Huberman, he says it will take 10-14 days to start getting better. Notice the word start.
You have fucked up your pleasure seeking system - dopamine. It will take some time to restore it to the correct state.
Then during the start of the 3rd week (21 days) "the Sun will start to come out" - the words of Huberman.
So if you are also quitting bad habits like me, then let us both remember this: It will take ~2 weeks to see the Sun. Sun in the sense, the good things.
Cheers bro!
