The most simple way to meditate

Meditation is simple not easy, that is why many people don't do it well. If you are not patient enough you will not find it interesting.

What comes to your mind when you think about meditation? For years, I thought of the cute yoga girl sitting in the meditation stock photo - she is smiling. That is not meditation, it happens inside.

This is how you do it: DO IT WITH ME

  1. Take a deep breath into your stomach. Let it bulge out like a medieval king. This is important: While you breath focus on your breath, the air that goes into your body. The surrounding energy is coming in.
  2. Now, exhale everything out. Let your stomach compress like a flat football. The energy is going out.
  3. Did your mind wander somewhere while breathing? Of course it will, the purpose of meditation is to "get that focus back".
  4. Bring your focus back to your breath. It will wander again, again bring your focus back.

I mean the focus is going to change many times. You just have to keep bringing it back. That is the essence of meditation.

Start with 2-5 minutes, then eventually do progressive overloading on it. 5, 10, 15, 20 mins. Do it everyday after you wake up. Once you meditate jump straight to eating the frog aka the hardest task.
